The original seed for this productive and beautiful strain came to us in a 43 bulb braid with a box of Iowa sweet corn! From Des Moines area grower Jordan Clasen, Grade A Gardens. Very vigorous growing seed producing large bulbs with pure white bulb-wrappers. Most bulbs have more cloves than our standard German Stiffneck. Bulbs often contain 7 large fat cloves. This porcelain strain has been grown in Iowa for some time but appears to be the same variety as the German White (or German Stiffneck) that is a popular standard with Northeast growers. Image coming this fall.
