Lorz Italian - Artichoke (Bulk) #156

Large, sometimes flat-round bulbs. 3 to 5 clove layers with 12 to 19 cloves, not many smallish interior cloves. A northwest heirloom brought to Washington States Columbia Basin from Italy by the Lorz family before the 1900's. Well adapted to summer heat. Some years very hot in front of mouth but very strong, great flavor.
